What does “light” mean to you? I’m honored to be a guest on the Lightworker Interview Series this month, even though I haven’t really thought of myself as a Lightworker before! We had an interesting conversation about what that might mean and how we all have light within us to share.
I always trust what is meant to flow to come forth and I was surprised by some of it! I love that kind of discussion with kindred spirits. I keep thinking of more that we could have talked about, but that is always the case and the sign of great discussion that keeps me thinking about it. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you’d like to join the discussion andleave a comment below.
The free course mentioned in the video introduction is available for a limited time from ThriveTrue.com/JoyGift
This is the ENVIRONMENT card that I drew from the Heart of Life deck in the video interview:
I encourage you to listen to your own intuition and consider the following questions. You could answer one or all of them in a journal. Sometimes, writing can help us gain more insight.
What/How does the ENVIRONMENT card or idea…
- make you feel?
- make you think about?
- make you wonder?
- encourage you?
Since the interview with Aileen, I’ve given much thought to my visions and values. I’ve been spending more time outside breathing in the blessings right here and now, including icicles dripping from the rosebushes this time of year and frost sparkling on the Earth. I’ve also noticed I have a lot of housecleaning to do… mentally, emotionally, and literally! I’ve started cleaning out my closet again. I’ve noticed how the word valuable could truly mean able to value. I notice that is part of being healthy AND having a healthy environment… being able to value myself, my family, my home, relationships, community, and this amazing planet! I’ve thought about how discounting, devaluing and bargain hunting might be the opposite of how I want to spend my energy or interact with others. I intend to honor, enjoy, and appreciate life and our environments! I’ve also noticed how the word intend has the word tend in it… as in what are we tending? I wonder what the ENVIRONMENT card brings up for you. I hope it may be encouraging in some way.
Though I’ve traveled along winding roads and through a few dark nights to heal wounds from abuse, anxiety, and grief, I prefer to celebrate and enjoy the present. I invite you to lean in to life with me, even with the messes and the mysteries, to find the magic in it all. In my book, The Girl Who Dances With Delight, I share ways that I’ve added rhythm, ritual, and enrichment to lighten my days and liven up. The book is about falling in love with ourselves and with life. I share many suggestions that have had a beautiful, healing impact in my whole life, mind, body, and spirit. I wrote a lot about my journey to more self acceptance and liberation with plenty of encouragement and activities for others to join me.
You can receive a free gift peek inside the book with excerpts and the basic D.A.N.C.E. steps at ThriveTrue.com/DanceGift. (The word D.A.N.C.E. is an acronym reminder.) This free gift is like an invitation to a pre-party. I share the original activities that led to the writing of the book and supported me through the writing process. The book itself is now available on Amazon (with free shipping) and in bookstores now. Signed copies are available here on my website.
Let your Delight Shine!
Love,
